Our second week was FULL with lots of classes, electives, field trips, and fun. It's safe to say our students are tired and may welcome our "holiday at home" break for the Fourth of July! (And then they will be eager to return on Tuesday morning. :)

Our core classes examined community, from social, financial, and demographic viewpoints, Our workshop on "Life Skills" taught everything from how to change a tire to how to sew a button. And Friday's field trips took students to the Upcountry History Museum (with a dinosaur exhibit), the Furman farm, Converse, and Spartanburg Methodist College. Saturday promises to be a great day of teambuilding and community service.
